Description
Replica sample of commemorative carpet, in the form of a pennant with hanging pole and decorative tassles. This carpet was designed to mark Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee in 1977 and was fitted to 25 special Routemaster type buses. The carpet features a square patterned design with a crown, roundel and also the woolmark symbol. This sample was preserved in it's pennant form by workers of the carpet manufacturers.
