Description
London Transport published this poster in 1938. It was from a series designed by Marc Fernand Severin to ease congestion during rush hour. This poster suggests going to the cinema straight from work instead of making a journey back again later in the evening. The photomontage shows Ronald Colman as medieval poet François Villon in the 1938 Hollywood version of 'If I Were King'.
