Description | Dorothy Dix designed this poster. The Underground group published it in 1922 to promote travel to the country by bus. The striking image depicts an oast house on a hop farm, a familiar sight in the Kent countryside. The intensity of the reds, yellows and oranges indicates that the warm summer sun, which appears to radiate from the poster, is setting. |
