A taxi rank occupies the middle of the street, and there are some newly planted trees on the right-hand pavement. 'Tons of Money' is running at the Aldwych Theatre. |

Showing on right the Bush Building, in course of completion, and on left the newly built Crown House block of offices, and the angle of Adastral House, on east of Kingsway. The buildings on the east and the west corners of Kingsway - Adastral House and Shell Corner - are of similar design. In the photograph the angle of Shell Corner is concealed by Crown House.
