On panel: The Speckled Band. Holmes and Watson spend a night where a woman has died suddenly and mysteriously. Why do a baboon and a cheetah roam outside? What is the strange whistling heard in the darkness? The sinister owner bends a poker; Holmes straightens it. But Watson takes his revolver to be on the safe side.
