Corner of Lordship Lane and Wood Green High Road, empty site, for new Underground station for the northern extension of the Piccadilly line from Finsbury Park. The previous building on the site has been only recently demolished, since a sign identifying the demolition contractor is still present. To the right is a branch of Barclays Bank. A number of pedestrians are passing, but the road is clear.
