View taken within the tunnel, running beneath Beadon Road. Workmen excavate building debris from tunnel floor, shovelling fragments into wheelbarrows. Vertical steel girders support a complex arrangement of wooden scaffolding, horizontal concrete supports and moulding panels, forming the tunnel roof structure. |
