Hammersmith Underground station Piccadilly/District; work in progress on dismantling of Platform No.2 to facilitate re-alignment of track for the western extension of the Piccadilly line. View from partly dismantled platform site, a shallow trench runs the length of the platform, wooden hoardings divide the platform along the middle. Metal frame of platform canopy hangs above. No workmen present. Booking hall end of platform, signs indicating way out and direction of District platforms, LUT and Metropolitan line station.
