Description | One in a series taken during the construction of Morden depot sheds building. A metal girder five section structure, the roofing of the first two sections appears complete, the second two sections are in basic shell format and the last section is in the process of being assembled. A large section of girder is seen resting on a truck. The windowed wall along the building's left side is seen already constructed, as is also part of the far end wall. Tracks can be seen running inside the sheds and also round to the right hand side of the building into sidings. A narrow gauge temporary track runs across in foreground, parallel with main track, next to which lie lengths of wooden beams, bits of piping and some lengths of narrow gauge track and their sleepers. |
