Description | A train of 1972 (MkII)-tube stock, with doors open, in the northbound Northern line platform at Leicester Square station. Illuminated direction signs, with Mexican arrows, are suspended from the tunnel roof above the platform, whilst a train describer can be seen at the far end of the platform. Note also the clock and the cantilever benches, on one of which a man is sitting. Another illuminated sign is located on the tunnel wall, above the roof of the car nearest the camera. Several people are walking up the platform towards the photographer. |
