Description | A long line of people queuing in the rain in Trafalgar Square to board a B-type bus, operating on route 32 to Hampton; the men at the head of the queue can be seen climbing the stairs to the top deck. A conductor, with his hands behind his back holding a ticket rack, stands beside the queue, midground centre. The bus driver, wearing a white cap and dustcoat, is just visible on the other side of the queue, by the bus stop. |
