Description | Exterior of 55 Broadway, taken from the upper floors of a building in Tothill Street. The east wing is directly opposite to the camera, with the south east facade, fronting on Broadway, on the left, and the north east facade, largely in shadow, to the right. A stone plinth bearing a memorial plaque to Lord Ashfield can be seen at ground floor level on the east wing. A silhouette roundel is attached to the far end of the south east facade; two more roundels on the north east facade mark the entrance to St James's Park Underground station, Circle and District lines. The hut in the right foreground is clearly being used in connection with building work. |
