This shot part of a series U3425-U3428 shows in closer detail some of the machinery being operated by workmen, part of an assembly line set up in an open field area for the fitting of the metal chairs that hold the track onto their sleepers. The actual bolting process is here being carried out. A short section of track attached to sleepers on ground in front of machinery probably being used as a fitting guide.
