| Description | This photographic colour-tinted postcard shows the Gaiety Theatre on the Strand. This area of the Strand is now Aldwych. The Gaiety Theatre was temporarily closed in around 1902 when the area was reconstructed. The building was severely damaged during World War II and was demolished in 1956. |
