Postcard; routes from the Baker Street and Waterloo Railway to the Exhibition at Wood Lane, 1908 - 1910

The diagrammatic map on this postcard shows the Underground routes from the Baker Street and Waterloo Railway to the exhibition held at Wood Lane near Shepherd's Bush. It recommends interchanges and shows the prices of return tickets that include admission to the exhibition. The event being promoted is the 1910 Japan-British Exhibition. A plan of the site is on the back of the card, with a list of the numerous stands and exhibits. The postcard was probably not intended for postal use as there is no place for stamp, address or message.
