Description | This booklet contains details of walks and rambles in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Essex that could be reached by Green Line coach. The company provided services to outer London towns and country areas. The booklet includes photos of the various places of interest, and information on the coach services. The booklet was published by the London Passenger Transport Board, formed in 1933. The front cover design includes the roundel symbol. It had been modified to carry the trading name of the various transport organisations while reinforcing the branding of London Transport (L.T.). The effect cluttered the design, which was later simplified. |
