Description | Original artwork relating to the 'Red Rover' bus ticket. The artwork is in the style of a cartoon, and depicts a London bus that has been brought to life or personified. This London bus has a happy expression on its face and plays music from its speakers. There is a printed label for the Geoff Perkin Creative Consultancy (GPCC) on the bottom right-hand corner of the thin piece of card which covers the artwork. As GPCC was founded in the late 1970s, this label indicates that the artwork was produced from the late 1970s onwards. There is a printed caption on the bottom left-hand corner of the artwork which reads; 'This Artwork has been checked by the Consultancy But all aspects of design and copy must be checked by clients before handing over to printer'. There is a label for the National Graphical Association on the bottom left-hand corner of the back of the thick piece of card on to which the artwork has been glued. The handwritten annotation on this label is as follows; 'Geoff Perkin Creative 9/9/1243'. |
