Roundels and badges

Image showing badgesThe 'winged wheel' logo was used on London General Omnibus Company horse buses from 1905. Since it was introduced in 1908, the roundel has been applied to Underground, London Transport and Transport for London vehicles and staff uniforms to distinguish and unify the company's services.
