Roundels and publicity

Image showing publicityThe roundel has appeared on the publicity material of London's transport companies for 100 years. It has provided a standard and unifying logo for the many posters, leaflets and booklets published to promote their services. The roundel has also been more playfully employed by artists, commissioned to produce eye-catching and memorable poster designs.
