Results - Cubism

Avant-garde movements, such as Cubism (c1908-1919), found expression in many poster designs, particularly in the late 1920s and 1930s. In Cubist artworks objects are broken up, analyzed, and re-assembled to depict the subject from multipal viewpoints. The poster artist appropriated these formal qualities of Cubism to striking effect.
