Tony Sarg (also known by the name Anthony Frederick Sarg ), born 1880 in Guatemala, died 1942. Designed posters for the Underground Group 1912-1914

Biography:

Tony Sarg was a painter, illustrator and caricaturist. In 1914 he became a member of the London Sketch Club. He illustrated several books while working in England before moving to New York He worked for many magazines and designed mural paintings for hotels in New York. From 1935 until his death he designed window displays for Macy's department store.
