Biography:

Thomas Derrick was an artist and illustrator. He studied at the Royal College of Art, where he later exhibited and lectured in decorative painting. He is best known for mural designs and illustration work, which regularly appeared in Punch. He also painted portraits and designed stained glass. Derrick designed three posters for the Underground in the 1920s, one was in collaboration with Edward Bawden, and another with Katherine Ritchie.
