Biography:

Roslaw Szaybo moved to Britain in 1966, where he became a prominent graphic designer and printmaker. He designed book covers, cultural posters and over 2000 CD covers for international musicians including Roy Orbison, Elton John, Janis Joplin and Santana. Szaybo was artistic director of Young and Rubicon Advertising Agency between 1968 and 1973, then at CBS Records for a further 14 years. In the early 1990s, Szaybo returned to The Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts to lecture in photography. An exhibition of his most prestigious designs was held at the Polish stand at MIDEM in 2004.
