Biography:

Gaynor Chapman was an artist and illustrator, as well as a teacher of graphic designer. She illustrated a number of books and was commissioned for a variety of commercial designs. Notable clients included London Transport, Air France, BP, Shell and the Central Office of Information. She also designed wallpaper for ICI and a 20ft mural for the ship SS Dover.
