The work of artist Christopher Corr has been greatly inspired by international travel. His first trip to India was in 1986, which resulted in the exhibition Wel-come To India. It was accompanied by a book and short television film by the BBC. Corrs has exhibited widely including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Hayward Gallery and tours to Japan and the US. He has been commissioned for a range of commercial material including book jackets and posters. He has done work for World Aids Day (1996), Qantas and Windstar Cruises. The Royal Mail also sent him to Bosnia to produce a commemorative stamp. He has recently contributed to a range of children's books.
