Charles Ernest Cundall was also known by the name Charles Cundall.


Charles Cundall was a painter, potter and stained glass designer. His studies were interrupted by the First World War when he enlisted to join the Army. Cundall painted panoramic pictures which were inspired by his travels on several continents. He also was known for painting cityscapes and portraits in oils and watercolours. During the Second World War he was sent to Quebec in 1944 as an official war artist.
