Interior of Piccadilly line 1906/7 gate-tube stock motor car no 9. Two rows of longitudinal seats, with distinctive armrests, can be seen in the foreground; several bays of transverse seating are visible further down the car. The route diagram on the bulkhead shows both the then-extent of the line and several now-closed stations. Note the rather sparse provision of lighting and handgrabs.
