Platform view at Morden station; the photographer is standing on platform nos 4/5, and is looking across another island platform (nos 2/3) and platform no 1 towards the retaining wall on the left. The glass and timber overall roof, with glazed end-screen, is visible on the right. A clock, back-to-back benches, and a timber-framed tombstone-style station name roundel can be seen on platform nos 2/3; a tobacconist's kiosk is half-hidden in the shadow thrown by the roof. Two more tombstone-style roundels and a poster board are fixed to the retaining wall. The access stairway to/from platform no 1 is closed off with a 'No Exit' sign. The front of a 1938-tube stock train, bound for Mill Hill East, is visible on the extreme right of the shot.
