Street scene circa 1895 taken on the North side of Putney Bridge. View looks across bridge showing rear of a Star Company horse-drawn bus about to drive over. Star buses ran in connection with the District Railway. The print is not of a very good quality due to nature of copy neg, but a star shape on a pole can be seen beside the driver. J Freedman & Co Half Price shop is visible to left of shot, while an electric lighting contractors and a church stand across the road to the right.

Unknown photographer, 1892 - 1898
