High angled view looking across District line platforms at Earl's Court station. An island platform runs foreground centre to background left, whilst a side platform stands in background. A number of figures are waiting on both platforms; note the porter on the island platform standing by a pile of luggage. Lines of ornate lampposts, with signs attached, run the length of the platforms; the station name appears on the glass of the lampholders. A newspaper stand/kiosk can be seen on the single platform. A glazed roof protects the entire platform area.
