Platform view of Gloucester Road station, Metropolitan/District Railways, in later stages of construction. The building is substantially complete, and that signage and hanging globe gas lamps have been installed; however, the track serving the right hand platform has yet to be laid, and baulks of wood and other materials are lying on the platform.
