Three-quarter front view of a LGOC B-type bus being used for the transport of wounded soldiers on the Western Front during the First World War; the windows on the lower deck have been boarded up, and similar boarding has been erected on the sides of the upper deck. Groups of soldiers can be seen; some of the troops have clearly been wounded, and are being assisted by their colleagues. Snow covers the ground.

Photographed by Underwood & Underwood, 1914-1918
