Station gardens competition 1943. The judges in discussion under the platform canopy at Colindale Underground station, Northern line; on the other side of the track can be seen one of the station's prizewinning gardens. A southbound train of 1938-tube stock is entering the platform. Note also 'Way Out' sign with three-flighted Mexican arrow.
