View of building work in Rundell Crescent, Hendon, showing recently completed detached and semi-detached houses, with mock-Tudor frontages, in background, together with other houses in various stages of construction, many of which are surrounded by scaffolding. Builder's materials are scattered about the site. Housing development such as this had been stimulated by the opening of Hendon Central station on the Northern line Edgware extension in November 1923.
