Ealing Common Underground station, District line (and Piccadilly line from 1932). Exterior view of the new station building (Charles Holden design). A single storey, flat-top entrance way (a square cut central entrance is flanked by shop fronts) is surmounted by a seven sided booking office structure. The building is clad in white Portland stone. Pedestrians stand on the pavement in the foreground.
