View of Edgware Road station, Metropolitan Railway, looking west, during construction. It can be seen that the roof, walls and platforms are substantially complete, although scaffolding is still in place beneath the roof, and builders materials and debris are visible on the platforms and trackbed. The tracks appear to be of a temporary nature. Note the long ladder, midground centre, and the flat wagon, just visible in the background.
