Euston Road facade of Chiltern Court and Baker Street station. The Metropolitan Railway built nine housing estates in Metro-Land, and comissioned this building above Baker Street Underground station which consisted of 180 high class residental flats. The flats also boasted a restaurant capable of accomodating 250 guests, a hairdressing salon and 30 seperate rooms for staff accomodation. Authors H.G Wells and Arnold Bennett were among some of Chiltern Courts more famous residents.
