Signalmen in Underground uniform in Hammersmith signal cabin. The man in the foreground is making up the train register; his colleague with the cap appears to be operating the miniature level panel whilst referring to the track diagram above the lever frame. Note the word 'Underground' embroidered on the jacket collar of the man in the foreground, and the telephone hanging above the lever frame.
