Ealing Common Underground station, District line, during reconstruction. Hoardings separate the site from the road; behind the hoardings, the new booking hall, enclosed by scaffolding, is just visible. A pile of gravel lies at the side of the road, by a site entrance, where two workmen are standing. Signs identify the site and the building contractor.
