The photograph shows a C.&S.L.R. locomotive and original 'padded cell' trailer car . The loco was one of only two locomotives built by Siemens, note double lined livery. Some appear to be officials in bowler hats whilst the rest are in various railway uniforms according to rank and job. Many have fob watches in their waistcoat pockets.
