20th Century London caption: This picture was taken on the south bank of the Thames, looking across Tower Bridge to the Tower of London on the left. A single-decker bus is driving across the bridge towards the City whilst a sightseeing bus passes beneath. The red-liveried boat is an Official London Sightseeing Boat. It is operated by the City Cruise company, a private enterprise. By this date, the late 1990s, London Transport no longer operated sightseeing services.
