Lower deck interior of P1-type trolleybus, looking towards the rear platform and the foot of the stairs to the upper deck, and showing a mix of transverse and longitudinal seating, hand-grab rails, and on the right hand side of the bus ceiling, the bell-push wire. A fares chart for route 630, West Croydon station to Harrow Road, is affixed to the staircase bulkhead. The P1-type had a MCW body on a Leyland chassis, and entered into service in January 1941. Posed shot, taken at Fulwell depot.
