Portrait of Sir John Wolfe Barry (1836-1918). Barry was a consulting engineer on a number of railway projects, including the DR's Ealing and Fulham extensions and the Inner Circle's completion. He was also consulting engineer for Blackfriars station and bridge, and built Tower Bridge.
