Image documenting a visit by HRH The Prince Of Wales (later King Edward VIII) to the LGOC Works at Chiswick. In this view, taken at the Training School, the Prince (third right), is apparently watching a bus demonstrate the use of the skid pan. Members of staff are lined up beside the building in the background. Two men are standing by a camera on a tripod, background centre. Note the snow in the foreground and covering the railway embankment in the background. One of a series, see U5382-U5388.
