Print published in the 'Illustrated London News' Supplement of 8 February 1868, showing the junction of the Midland, Great Northern and Metropolitan Railways at King's Cross station. The Metropolitan station can be seen on the left; the eastbound platform is crowded with passengers, whilst others leave or enter the station by the stairways and footbridge. Smoke is pouring from the chimney of a locomotive heading westwards. The junctions with the Midland and Great Northern Railways are visible on the right of the print; trains can be seen entering / leaving the tunnels. A semaphore signal stands midground right.
