View shows a loom in operation, weaving moquette fabric at John Holdsworth and Co, Halifax, West Yorkshire. The moquette pattern shown here was designed for the refurbished C69/77 Surface stock Circle, Hammersmith and City lines. Yellow, purple and green squares (representing the Circle, Metropolitan and District lines) are arranged in triangular groups on a grey ground. The moquette was apparently designed for Cre'Active Design by Callow and Maddox Bros Ltd.

Photographed by Bob Bird, February 1993
