Nearside view of a Clarkson single-deck steam bus operated by the LGOC. The driver is sitting in the cab and the conductor is standing by the steps. White notes that this was the first mechanically-driven vehicle which the LGOC licensed for service. (The first LGOC motor bus in regular service, the oil fired steam bus, ran from 10 Oct 1904 to 7 June 1905 between Hammersmith and Piccadilly Circus.)

Photographed by Topical Press, 10 Oct 1904 - 7 Jun 1905
