Traffic scene in Chiswick High Road at 11.50am on 15 March 1937, showing three different types of LT road vehicle; nearest the camera is C1-type trolleybus no 140 bound for Shepherds Bush on route 657, followed by a STL-type bus, reg no BLH757, on route 32 to Raynes Park, and finally a single-deck T-type Green Line coach. The large, ornate brick and stone building in the background appears to house a parade of shops, including David Greig's, the grocers.
