Sketch of the proposed station at Baker Street, Metropolitan Railway, showing a train entering the platform, where a number of passengers are waiting. The artist shows the openings in the roof of the tunnel, which provided natural light to the platforms. At road level, the station buildings on either side of the street can be seen. The stairway access from the building on the right to the platform is also illustrated.
