Interior of Poplar LT tram depot, during the changeover from tram to trolleybus operation. A gang of workman, all wearing flat caps and conscious of the camera, are using crowbars and other hand tools to remove the tram tracks. Some ex-LCC E/1-class trams, including no 1061, can be seen in the background.
